This time I really truly feel I'm justified in saying, as cliche as it may be, oh and it is, what about Across the Universe? That was a gorgeous movie. Also it's the only movie in years I've seen 4 times in theaters.
Fuck The Beatles.
That is all.
Okay, if you have a right to put Madden on the top video games then I have a right to put a movie with music by the Beatles in the top films.
You cannot argue that the Beatles were not influential. Personal bias aside that movie had amazing cinematography, rather impressive vocals (including Eddie Izzard), and it was a better movie than Madden (any year) was a video game. And believe it or not, I've played a few Madden games (hard for me to admit but we all have our moments of weakness).
I would make my own list but I'd be limited to 5 because in making lists I have my own terribly restricting guidelines and they kill me. I couldn't limit my best films to 5. That's like limiting favorite cereals, it all depends on the mood I'm in, and I like cereal.
